Packaging Developer in a Dynamic and International company
Would you like to develop the packaging solutions for Perrigos’s Derma products in Europe and be responsible for ensuring that the packs work during the entire product life cycle; from production until the consumers discard them? Then you might be the person we are looking for.
As packaging developer at Perrigo, you will develop packaging solutions for our new and existing products and will play an important role in concept and idea generation as packaging expert. The responsibilities include; finding and evaluating new packaging solutions and suppliers, performing and evaluating packaging tests, implementing the packaging solution at our contract filler and ensuring that the packaging documentation and artworks in the files are up-to-date. You will also play an important role in color matching and print approvals at our packaging supplier.
The work is mostly done in project teams with close collaboration with other functions, such as Marketing, Formulation, Supply and Regulatory, where you will be the packaging expert. You will be in constant contact with packaging suppliers, contract fillers and design agencies, as well as with internal functions in the Nordic office, at our Belgium and Dublin offices and in the countries where the products are sold. During certain times of the year, you will travel frequently to packaging suppliers and contract manufacturers.
The right candidate currently works as a Packaging Developer and has either a Master’s degree in Engineering/Natural Sciences or an education in Packaging Development. Preferable, you have experience from the Cosmetics, Pharmaceutical or Food industry. The corporate language is English, therefore, good knowledge of English is a must.
