Store Clerk - 2nd Shift

Summary:

This position will be responsible for working closely with the Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse and Production teams in ensuring a well-maintained storeroom for plantwide parts and equipment availability to improve site reliability.

Second Shift - Monday-Friday, 3pm to 11pm.

Description: 

  • Prepares order requests from internal customers by pulling items from inventory
  • Operates ERP software (SAP) to perform daily inventory control tasks
  • Complete daily cycle counting to help mitigate gaps in inventory
  • Inspect inventory for damage or faults and provide feedback to vendors and maintenance personnel to resolve prior to it becoming an issue
  • Operate a forklift in order safety move larger items around the site between several storage areas
  • Provide backup support for maintenance technicians and maintenance systems coordinator as needed.
  • Provide backup administrative support to maintenance, maintenance shop and other areas as needed, including preparation of correspondence and presentations; respond to and route inquires received via telephone, email, mail, and other as appropriate.
  • Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, floors, and workstations neat.
  • Process purchase orders (P/O’s) through SAP
  • Communicate errors to relevant parties and follow up with issues in a timely manner
  • Ability to practice good record keeping and file management
  • Use scanning software to move items to/from inventory and verify accurate changes in SAP
  • Provide invoicing and goods receipts support

Requirements: 

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in SAP PM/MM modules and Microsoft Excel.
  • A minimum of 5 years in manufacturing experience required
  • Demonstrated cooperative work conduct and the ability to work independently.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints and good math skills required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to meeting schedules and deadlines through good attendance and willingness to work overtime, including weekends when needed, are also necessary.
  • Must be able to frequently unload shipments over 50lbs.
