Statistical Forecaster - Data Science

Supply Chain Allegan, Michigan


This new team seeks to deliver supply chain transformation and energy by infusing data statistics, data science, and demand forecasting insights that transform supply chain forecasting at Perrigo.  Your talent with data analysis and data science methodologies, will lay the foundation for an updated forecasting process, generating a statistical forecast for all current SKU’s.  You will also drive the development of applications for demand forecasting, leading strategic insights to address key business challenges.   You will also support existing software applications, focused on continuous improvement development functions. Using forecasting methodology, this role requires translation of complex data sets into meaningful insights that key stakeholders will consider for business drivers.  This role will have you working on end-to-end forecasting, overseeing data analysis, data cleansing, and recommendations for methods to provide the most accurate forecasting.

 This role is partially remote, but will require some onsite collaboration at our Allegan, MI and or Grand Rapids, MI campuses.  Because we are building new efficiencies in our Supply Chain organization, this role will offer the opportunity to showcase your talents, and you would be well positioned in a growing organization for opportunity.


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related discipline such as Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, quantitative Management Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
  • Demonstrated success in business areas that offer alignment to the role: Supply Chain, strategic consulting, finance, etc.
  • Experience with in-depth data analysis and data science methodologies
  • Exposures to statistical modeling tools, and programming languages, specifically Python, and R
  • Experience with Tableau and Power BI programs would be advantageous
  • Quantitative analysis skills, with the ability to research and synthesize information into meaningful interpretations
  • Collaboration skills to lead teams, and share insights that drive efficiencies
