Sales Director (w/m/d)
                                                                                                            
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead our Pharmacy Field Sales Force Team, our Mass Market/Retail and Pharmaceutical Wholesaler Key Account Management Team as well as our E-Commerce Team
  • Implement and drive performance based management across all sales teams to achieve step-change efficiency gains
  • Develop and implement commercial plans for existing and new brands to drive profitable growth in all 3 channels (mass market/retail, pharmacy and e-commerce) based on our jointly developed customer strategy.
  • Inspire and guide all involved teams to become best-in-class in our channel strategies, priority setting , trade investments/spendings, scenario planning, commercial innovation and new initiative planning
  • Be the face of the company at key customers and represent the key customers within our company
  • Develop top to top relations to engage customers behind our growth agenda and build strategic collaborations for joint business planning
  • Drive change management across all teams
  • Create and update regular sales forecasts aligned with Finance and Supply Chain Planning and contribute to our budget and long-range planning
  • Close collaboration with Sales Excellence, DACH Management, Marketing, Finance, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Country Manager Austria and Switzerland
  • Develop value based pricing strategies
  • Drive the sales organization transformation towards E-Commerce
Key Requirements:
  • Master’s Degree or equivalent education
  • Extensive experience in field sales force management as well as key account management, preferably complemented with E-Commerce experience, as well
  • Solid experience in both, FMCG as well as OTC/pharma business in Germany
  • Track record in driving profitable growth in competitive channels, businesses and categories
  • Ability to inspire and guide teams to develop concept selling and compelling commercial propositions
  • Intense performance management and change management experience
  • Knowledge in P&L management
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder
  • Able to navigate in multi-functional and multi-country matrix organizations
  • Fluent in German and English
