 Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and deliver on the short-term strategic business plan and supporting product plans
  • Assist in helping set product development priorities and facilitate the execution of these projects with cross-functional teams consisting of R&D, Operations, Sourcing, Creative Services, Finance and Sales associates. Manage internal and external resources, as necessary, to execute projects
  • Analyze retailer, consumer, and market trends to understand and execute opportunities that maximize the commercialization of new products; conduct detailed data analysis to make fact-based recommendations to meet business goals
  • Collaborate with Customer Marketing Director to support development of NPD pipeline and business strategies that maximize synergies across the global footprint where possible
  • Establish product development priorities and drive execution of these projects
  • Utilize product line P&Ls to identify growth opportunities and strategies to drive category revenue and reduce costs.

 

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required. MBA not required, but preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or related marketing with exposure in both private label and branded marketing initiatives
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business environment
  • Able to provide and report on financial analysis, budgeting/control, and P&L management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products with the ability to learn internal system programs
  • Proven history of developing successful new products from ideation to go to market strategies
  • Familiarity with consumer research methodologies, including a working knowledge of survey development and testing methods
  • Experience extracting and analyzing syndicated category research (e.g. Nielsen / IRI) to drive fact-based recommendations and decision making to meet business goals
  • Proven ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations from disparate data sources
  • Capable of operating with effectiveness in a fast-paced entrepreneurial business environment
