Compensation:  Equity only for the first 3 months
 
Our Client is a deep tech company at the forefront of innovation empowering AI based intelligent machines for both commercial and defense applications. With a robust portfolio of patented AI core enabling technologies, our client pioneers Mission Autonomous AI, offering cutting- edge software and autonomous hardware solutions for a new generation of intelligent machines. They are at a pivotal stage of growth and are seeking a visionary leader to helm their Security & Defense division.
 
This position will report to the Chairperson and the Corporate CEO.
 
The CEO of the division will initially join as a member of the Executive Advisory Board, working for equity only for 3 months, before transitioning to the CEO role. This leadership position is critical for leveraging the established business foundations, both domestically and globally, to drive future growth and sales in its Security and Defense business. Our client believes that their pipeline is strong and that with the proper resources it will drive real growth.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead the strategic vision and the revenue and operational execution.
  • Drive significant growth in business and sales, both in the U.S. and internationally, in the private sector (entertainment and sports venues, museums and buildings), and government sectors
  • Foster relationships with the U.S. Department of Defense, global governments, and local and global private sector entities.
  • Navigate the intricacies of deep tech, SAAS, and complex systems hardware manufacturing.
  • Establish a robust management infrastructure to support long-term business growth and global leadership.
  • Support the Corporate CEO in financing initiatives as appropriate for each strategic growth point, focusing on hybrid capital equipment and software growth strategies.
  • Position the division as a leader in AI-based intelligent machine technology in the entry security and operations space.
 
Qualifications: 
  • Proven experience as a CEO of an AI and/or security technology company, or in a senior executive role in a relevant industry.
  • Recent experience in a high growth technology startup with a successful exit.
  • Fundraising experience is a must.
  • Extensive experience working with enterprise customers, the US government and global government, private and security sectors.
  • Strong background in local and global private sector business development.
  • Experience in high-tech industries, particularly SaaS and complex systems manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability in financing and growing a hybrid capital equipment and software company.
  • Strategic thinker with a record of executing growth strategies in security technology sectors.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the organization.
  • Prior military or public safety service is an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
