Peloton has a unique opportunity for an experienced Chief People Officer to provide oversight, leadership, and management to a global Human Resources team, as well as serve as part of the Executive Leadership team.
Role Overview:
The Chief People Officer is responsible for leading Peloton’s people functions through the refinement of Peloton’s people strategy, oversight of talent development and acquisition, onboarding, managing employee relations, workforce development, performance management, succession planning, staff and leadership training, policy development, benefits administration, and organizational compliance.
The CPO will work to support and strengthen Peloton’s systems and culture with a customer service and growth mindset. Peloton seeks candidates with experience aligning people and talent strategy to business strategy. As an HR leader you will bring expertise independently designing and executing human capital strategies and processes/process improvements across a global team, and ability to work across a dynamic and diverse set of relationships, managing complex and sensitive situations rounded in values and in accordance with HR best practices.  The CPO will partner with Executive Management in fine-tuning a new performance management process and development of a system of alignment between compensation and performance management. Additional focus will be on leading the Total Rewards program for Peloton, ensuring that the compensation, offerings, and benefits continue to remain competitive and meet the needs of employees.
This role will report directly to Peloton’s CEO and will lead a talented team of global HR professionals, providing ongoing feedback and coaching, annual review/goal setting, and serving as a strategic thought partner.
Required Experience & Skills:
Peloton is seeking a values-driven CPO with experience as a senior organizational leader in human resources and recruitment with a strong background in a professional services environment. The ideal CPO candidate will possess the following experiences and attributes:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of progressive human resources experience, with at least 5+ years at the management/director level, and proven experience within the professional services industry.
  • A track record of building and leading successful HR teams and demonstrated experience in creating and executing HR strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Experience leading the HR function in a diverse global organization with demonstrated cross cultural competency and a focus on employee experience, engagement, performance, and retention. 
  • Strong knowledge of current HR best practices, labor laws, and industry trends
  • Demonstrated experience leading and building inclusive and engaged workplaces, driving cultural awareness and sensitivity with a lens towards building effective global teams.
  • Ability to deal with conflict effectively and to manage difficult employee relations situations confidently and calmly.
  • A collaborative, influential, goal-oriented, and coaching focused style of leadership with direct reports, peers, employees, and leadership
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to find creative solutions to cultural, administrative, and organizational challenges.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • A big-picture thinker who recognizes the impact of decisions and actions on the entire organization. Exhibits sound and accurate judgement and makes timely decisions.
  • Desire to be part of hardworking, collaborative, fun, and value-driven team.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP a plus
