Looking to get started quickly? Qualified candidates can potentially begin working within approximately 8 days of their interview as a BHT Associate while completing the remaining requirements needed to transition into the Behavioral Health Technician role.

FBI Clearance and PA Child Abuse Clearance are required for the BHT position. However, candidates who do not yet have these clearances may still be eligible to start immediately as a BHT Associate while completing the required clearance process.

About the Role

Clarvida is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician to provide one-to-one behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and young adults ages 2-24 in home, school, and community settings across Pennsylvania.

This role supports clients with emotional or behavioral challenges while promoting age-appropriate independence and stability. Guided by a Behavioral Consultant, you will follow an individualized treatment plan that may include behavioral interventions, skill reinforcement, and family education.

You will work directly with clients and caregivers to promote culturally responsive, recovery-oriented care and help individuals build skills that support greater independence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 behavioral health services to youth ages 2-24 in home, school, and community settings

• Follow treatment plans designed by the supervising Behavioral Consultant

• Promote age-appropriate functioning and skill development

• Establish appropriate boundaries to reduce dependency on services

• Provide parent training and caregiver support

• Deliver culturally responsive, trauma-informed care

• Maintain required documentation of client progress

• Travel to client locations as needed

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license

• PA Child Abuse Clearance

• FBI Clearance

• Ability to obtain or maintain other applicable Pennsylvania clearances, including PA Act 34

• CPR/First Aid training, including infant/child, or willingness to complete required training

Don't have your FBI or Child Abuse Clearance yet? You may still be eligible to start immediately as a BHT Associate while working toward completion of the required clearances. Qualified candidates may be able to begin working within approximately 8 days of their interview.
