Lead Skills Trainer/Youth Mentor

About your Role:
• Cellphone stipend
As a Lead Skills Trainer/Youth Mentor you will be responsible for onboarding and direct
supervision of Skills Trainers and Youth Mentors in the applicable region. Occasionally
provide Skills Training or Youth Mentoring services to youth referred by DHS. You will
also provide regional based oversight of referral procurement and assignment and
establishing and maintaining ongoing relationships with key regional stakeholders and
partners. Ensuring referred youth in the region receive high quality, individualized,
appropriate services to assist them in developing the skills needed in order to stabilize
their placement in the community.

Does the following apply to you?
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience- additional education may
substitute for years of experience
• Willing and able to work 40-hours per week
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and auto insurance
• CPR/First Aid- provided by an agency
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI)- provided by an agency
• Tier 1 Collaborative Problem Solving – provided by an agency
• Satisfactory results of fingerprinting and background checks
