IT Communications & Training Specialist
Description
The IT Communications & Training Specialist ensures the organization is confident and prepared to adopt new technologies and workflows. This role closes gaps in training quality, communication clarity, and field readiness—especially during major technology transitions (e.g., Device Management, Teams Calling, EHR updates, clinical workflow redesign). The Specialist converts technical information into simple, actionable communication and training materials that reduce confusion, prevent rework, and support consistent national adoption.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in IT communications, training, instructional design, or end‑user enablement.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical information into clear, intuitive, visually compelling content.
- Experience designing or delivering training for system rollouts or workflow changes.
- Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Comfort working with geographically distributed teams and diverse user groups.
- Ability to adapt training for both low‑tech and high‑tech audiences.
- Experience supporting technology‑enabled changes (system rollouts, process changes, governance shifts).
- Prior experience in PMO, HR/L&D, Communications, or cross‑functional transformation environments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 governance, adoption, or end‑user enablement (preferred).
