About the Role
The Placement Support Specialist I contributes to program excellence and integrity by maintaining appropriate admissions levels within the Therapeutic Foster Care program while executing administrative and clinical responsibilities. This role focuses on coordinating client placements, supporting foster families, and ensuring compliance with program standards to drive positive outcomes for children and families.

Responsibilities
· Review client referral materials and present referrals to foster parents for placement consideration
· Facilitate client placements by coordinating communication between Program Director, referral sources, and foster parents
· Build and maintain relationships with internal and external referral sources and foster families
· Provide training and support to foster, biological, and adoptive families to create therapeutic home environments
· Participate in the on-call rotation as assigned
· Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal outcomes for clients and families
· Complete documentation within required timeframes and resolve any deficiencies promptly
· Conduct peer audits as assigned to ensure compliance and program integrity
· Contribute to Performance Quality Improvement initiatives through data collection and analysis
· Support continuous improvement of client care and program services

Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
· At least 1 year of experience in the mental health field
· Knowledge of child development and behavior modification
· Cultural sensitivity and ability to work across diverse socioeconomic populations

Preferred Qualifications
·Experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic, community-based treatment environment

·Valid driver’s license
