Finance Manager

Role Overview:
The Corporate Finance Manager is responsible for leading the company’s financial planning, analysis, and operational activities to support strategic decision-making and ensure long-term financial health. This role includes managing budgets, conducting financial forecasting, analyzing financial data, and developing financial models to provide actionable insights and support profit maximizing strategies.
In addition, the Corporate Finance Manager ensures compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements by coordinating with relevant agencies, ensuring accurate and timely submissions, and maintaining data integrity. The role also oversees key financial operations, including the month end close process, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve the company’s financial objectives.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
• Develop budgets, forecast financial performance, and analyze financial statements to identify trends and opportunities.
• Partner with business units to provide financial insights and support data-driven decision
making through variance analysis, scenario modeling, and performance tracking.
• Prepare and present regular financial reports and dashboards for senior management,
highlighting key metrics, risks, and opportunities to support strategic planning.
Budget Management:
• Review and validate expenditure requests to ensure alignment with approved budgets and prevent unauthorized or unplanned spending.
• Monitor budget utilization across departments, identify variances, and work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions and maintain budgetary control.
Financial / Regulatory Reporting:
• Prepare financial reports, such as monthly and annual reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and reporting requirements by identifying
relevant obligations, preparing accurate submissions, and coordinating timely filings with the
appropriate authorities.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes to drive efficiency and accuracy,
incorporating best practices and adapting to changes that may impact operations.
• Implement contingency plan to handle unexpected issues
Financial Operations:
• Oversee accounting procedures, such as month-end close activities, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and payroll.
• Develop and implement accounting policies to ensure compliance in all financial operations.
• Review and approve Balance Sheet reconciliations and ensure all items are supported.
Collaboration:
• Work with other departments to ensure financial goals are met, collaborating with auditors, and acting as a liaison with external stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications:
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience: at least 10 years in Finance and Accounting operations
• Preferred Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or other relevant certifications
(e.g., Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA)).
Skills:
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in accounting software, financial modeling, and data analysis tools.
