Are you passionate about helping families heal and reunite? As a Therapeutic Family Time Facilitator, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting families involved in the child welfare system. You’ll work directly with families who have experienced the separation of a child due to concerns of abuse or neglect.
In this dynamic role, you'll:
  • Assess and Support Families: Collaborate with families to develop personalized goals, working alongside their professional team to guide them through the healing process.
  • Provide Real-Time Coaching: Using a trauma-informed approach, offer in-the-moment parent coaching and redirection to empower families in learning healthier, more effective ways of interacting.
  • Be a Trusted Advocate: Provide accurate documentation, testify in court when necessary, and report any safety concerns to ensure the well-being of the child.
  • Offer Transportation & Support: Help bridge logistical gaps by providing transportation when needed, and meet families in the community, their homes, or in our offices.
  • Help Families Heal and Reunite: Ultimately, your goal will be to help facilitate the safe and successful return of children to their homes, supporting families as they move toward lasting change.
Your work will be essential in helping parents and children rebuild trust, strengthen relationships, and create a path forward for safe reunification. 
 
Perks of this role:
  • $22.25-$22.75/hour
  • 24 hours/week, flexible schedule

  • Opportunity to earn additional $1/hour for surpassing base client services goal
 
What we’re looking for: 
  • Master’s degree in a Human Services field (Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, etc.)
  • Currently or eligible to register with the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)
  • Prior experience working with kids, crisis intervention and conflict resolution, and knowledge of child development and the child welfare system
  • Proof of valid Driver’s License with clean driving record, as well as valid auto insurance
