Supported Education and Employment (SEE) Specialist

 
Our Employment Specialists work with Medicaid clients ages 14 through 40 who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis.  You will help identify their strengths, interests, capabilities, and needs to aid in their educational/employment search and goals.  Our Specialists work with their clients on resume building, interview skills, and the management of anxiety, depression, anger, etc. to maintain their goals successfully.  You will continue to work with clients at risk of losing their placement or to overcome barriers such as inaccessible sites, inflexible schedules, finances, and transportation. This position acts as an advocate, case manager, and skills coach, making a true impact in the lives of their clients!

What we’re looking for:
  • This position requires one of the following:
    • Human Service/Social Service Bachelor’s degree and 2 years or more experience providing supported employment/education or similar services 
    • Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) by the Employment Support Professional Certification Council (ESPCC) and at least 1 year of demonstrated experience 
    • Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) by the Commission of Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) and at least 1 year of demonstrated experience
    • 4 years or more experience providing supported employment or education, independent living assistance, or similar services
  • Proof of valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and education
