Description
As a Youth and Parent Mentor, our goals are specific to each individual.
While providing youth services we help the youth and adolescents:
- Engage in community activities
- Develop greater capacity for emotional expression
- Engage in positive social interactions
- Establish healthy peer networks
- Improve interpersonal communication skills
While providing parenting services we strive to:
- Help the parent to overcome obstacles and be able to cope with future parenting difficulties in a more constructive manner.
- Increase family structure (boundaries) and parental consistency.
- Improve interpersonal relationship between parent and child/children.
About your Role:
As a Clinical Specialist/Parent Mentor you will provide direct care services in the home, school and community to families requiring behavioral support, skills, training and goal-oriented interventions to assist with pro-social skills development. This role requires client transportation

Does the following apply to you?
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year of experience working with youth one-on-one in a skills building or social development program role
