About the Role
The Residential Skills Trainer- Lead works with clients in a residential setting to support treatment planning goals and daily living skill development. This role assists residents with hygiene, housekeeping, budgeting, safety, medication management, and meal preparation while consistently monitoring behaviors, needs, and progress toward individualized goals. The Residential Skills Trainer- Lead also serves as the Shift Supervisor, ensuring oversight of residential operations during assigned shifts and supporting a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities
· Assist residents with hygiene, housekeeping, budgeting, safety, medication management, and meal preparation
· Support and implement individualized treatment planning goals
· Monitor resident behaviors, needs, and progress toward established goals
· Document progress and report lack of progress or behavioral concerns as appropriate
· Provide consistent supervision and ensure resident safety at all times
· Serve as Shift Supervisor, overseeing residential operations during assigned shifts
· Model appropriate behavior and skill-building techniques for residents
· Maintain a clean, organized, and therapeutic residential environment
· Communicate effectively and professionally with residents, families, and team members
· Transport residents as needed in accordance with agency policies
· Ensure compliance with all agency policies, procedures, and safety standards

Required Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED
· Professional and courteous communication skills (verbal and written)
· Knowledge of and sensitivity to culturally diverse populations
· Valid Georgia Driver’s License and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
· Clean Criminal Background Check (no conviction or credible evidence of abuse, neglect, or sexual exploitation – child or adult)
· High School Diploma or GED
