About this Role:

As a Therapeutic Family Time Facilitator, you will work with families involved in the child welfare system who have experienced the removal of their children due to concerns of abuse and/or neglect.  This position will assess the family in order to establish ongoing goals with them and their professional team, testify in court as needed, provide accurate documentation, report any abuse/neglect concerns, and provide transportation as required. Using a trauma informed lens, you will provide psychoeducation and in the moment parent coaching and redirection in order to assist families in learning new ways of relating to one another. Meeting clients in the community, their homes, or in our offices, you will serve as a support to families, with the ultimate goal being the safe and successful return of a child to their home.

What we’re looking for: 

• Master’s degree in a Human Services field (Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, etc)
• Currently or eligible to register with the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)
• Prior experience working with kids, crisis intervention and conflict resolution, and knowledge of child development and the child welfare system
• Proof of valid Driver’s License with clean driving record, as well as valid auto insurance
