About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) at the Oasis program in Orange serves as a key member of the treatment team, advocating for and supporting assigned adult clients. This role oversees the medical needs of clients, including conducting nursing assessments, obtaining health histories, monitoring responses to medications, identifying the need for physician referrals, and assisting with applications for Patient Assistance Program medications. The RN monitors and cares for clients, consulting with them and their family supports regarding medical, nutritional, and other health concerns related to mental health or substance-related issues and provides education on medication self-administration.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and obtain detailed health histories
Monitor client response to psychiatric and other prescribed medications
Identify need for physician referrals and coordinate care accordingly
Assist clients in applying for Patient Assistance Program medications
Provide education on medication management and self-administration
Consult with clients and family supports regarding medical, nutritional, and health-related concerns
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Advocate for clients’ medical and behavioral health needs
Ensure compliance with program, state, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications
Active licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting preferred
Valid Driver’s License with clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Clean Criminal Background Check (no conviction or credible evidence of abuse, neglect, or sexual exploitation – child or adult)
Active licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting preferred
Valid Driver’s License with clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Location: on site city of Orange
