Job Title: Maintenance Technician
State: OR - Residential
Reports To: Business Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical needs of all clients’ properties are met by performing a broad variety of construction, maintenance and repair duties. The Maintenance Technician reports to the Business Manager and takes direction from the Lead Maintenance Technician.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform a wide variety of construction, maintenance, repair and landscaping tasks
- Purchase, pick-up, assemble, deliver and install furniture, appliances, equipment, etc.
- Submit invoices/timesheets and receipts in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure physical aspects of home are compliant with OARs for licensing
- Consistently attend regularly-scheduled meetings
- Be prompt and prepared for meetings
- Follow on-call rotation for the department.
- Other duties as assigned to assist the Program/Agency

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school level education; and
- A minimum of two (2) years of work experience in a construction-related field.
- Must own a variety of hand tools and properly-functioning power tools.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Valid Driver License with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background checks, including ODHS Criminal History
- Must be minimum eighteen (18) years of age

Ability to write and maintain accurate and timely documentation. Ability to present information 1:1 and to groups in an organized and concise manner.
