At Veterinary Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Group, we provide rehabilitation and integrative medicine to dogs and cats in Maryland, DC, Delaware, and Northern Virginia. Our specialties include orthopedic, neurology , sports medicine, and rehabilitation services.  VOSM treats thousands of orthopedic patients every year, more than a third of them coming to us from other states and abroad. Our specialists are actively engaged in teaching, clinical research, lecturing, publishing, and instructing other board-certified surgeons. That’s one of the reasons VOSM is the place veterinarians bring their own pets for advanced orthopedic care. It’s also why VOSM receives challenging cases from other specialists, and has been entrusted with fixing highly skilled working, performance, and sporting dogs from around the globe. VOSM was one of the first canine orthopedic sub-specialty groups in the world. The doctors at VOSM are even further sub-specialized into the disciplines of sports medicine, joint replacement, trauma, juvenile orthopedic conditions, regenerative medicine, and orthopedic surgical oncology, as well as conservative medical management and rehabilitation treatments for osteoarthritis and soft tissue injuries. VOSM is the world's first and only veterinary sub-specialty group concentrating on canine sports medicine. The doctors at VOSM have a strong understanding of the activities performed by and injuries occurring in working and performance dogs. They also understand not only the need to accurately diagnose and treat working and sporting injuries, but the requirements of returning these athletes back to full performance.
