This position is for a project management professional who specializes in the use of Smartsheet to aid in the operational logistics of the company. This includes the creation, management, and improvement of sheets, reports, and dashboards relative to several key departments within the THRIVE/Pathway ecosystem.

This position is also inclusive of understanding the reporting output from Smartsheet for use by data analytics, operational leaders, finance departments, and other key stakeholders that depend on the information within Smartsheet relative to their position and/or function. The person in this position should be familiar with project management principles, as well as open to adaptation to other project management software as needed in relationship to the growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project management alignment with key departments to aid in successful project outcomes 
  • Providing leadership to project team members, while establishing and maintaining high standards for professionalism and quality 
  • Responsible for successfully engaging in multiple enterprise scale initiatives simultaneously 
  • Maintaining and tailoring Pathway’s templates to promote their relevance for the project; taking into consideration the system, infrastructure, integration platform, size, complexity, and organizational risk. 
  • Maintaining the project repository/portal, ensuring project team members have consistent and easy access to all supporting/reference documentation that they require 
  • Maintaining identifying options and building action plans to address gaps, issues, risks, and/or inefficiencies while maintaining a project culture of solution identifiers 

 Essential Functions:

  • Full understanding of the functionality of how Smartsheet is currently used within the organization 
  • Advanced understanding of Smartsheet formulas, including cross sheet formulas, sheet summaries, and creating metrics for reporting and data analytics. 
  • Contribution to the continued improvement of the use of Smartsheet 
  • Upkeep of the technical aspects of how Smartsheet links within itself and to other key operational systems across the organization 
  • Upkeep and oversight of how Smartsheet alerts function to key stakeholders 
  • Upkeep, creation, and innovation of forms that relate to key operational processes 
  • Full understanding of project management roadmap to align with other project management systems currently in use and those intended for use in the future 
  • Troubleshooting and repair within Smartsheet 
  • Training of the users in the organization regarding proper use, bug fixes, and innovations within Smartsheet 
  • Create and streamline operational processes, using Smartsheet or other relevant software, and effectively roll out processes in an efficient manner to the organization 
  • Use Microsoft Power Automate and other similar tools to communicate with Smartsheet API 
  • Strong analytical and process design skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to anticipate and interpret customer needs 
  • Drives tasks to completion with little or no assistance from managers or team leads 
  • Communication and collaboration with key departments; Functional Stream Leads, Program Managers, Project Managers, and project team members to understand the needs of the organization 


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in project management or related position 
  • Smartsheet training and/or current Smartsheet certification 
  • Project management training and/or certification 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Strong teamwork and growth mentality 
  • Project management experience in a multi-unit environment 
  • Flexibility and agility in availability to perform job functions 
  • Remote work mindset – ability to stay focused, organized and on task in a home or office environment 
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Training skills – ability to teach other people and come up with creative ways to do so 
  • Comfortable in a matrix reporting environment 
  • Experience with creating project plans and displaying data in a meaningful and effective way  
  • Experience and ability to quickly learn and implement new software 
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
