Care & Comfort Veterinary Hospital is now hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our AMAZING team!
The ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate:
- At least 1-2 years experience and must be a Registered Veterinary Technician
- possesses exceptional customer service skills
- works well on a team as well as independently
- has excellent communications skills
- knowledge of dentistry and surgery
Job Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Assist Veterinarians in the practice with surgeries, preparing surgical suite, monitoring anesthesia, assist or perform induction/intubations and recovering patients
- Knowledge of Dentistry, taking dental radiographs, probe teeth, clean, scale, polish and perform extractions
- Assist Veterinarians with exams, educate clients, obtain vitals and patient history and perform treatments on treatment plans
- Ability to collect urine and blood samples and knowledge of in hospital lab testing and cytology's
- Take radiographs and send radiographs out for interpretation
- Keeping a clean work environment
