Veterinary Technician Assistant

Veterinary Cancer Group LA is growing, and we are currently hiring for a veterinary tech assistant for our oncology department.
VCG was founded in 1992 and has grown from a one doctor practice into one of the largest and most well-renown veterinary oncology groups in the world. We are thrilled to be celebrating 30 years in practice this year. We know how frightening it is to learn that your pet has cancer. The good news is that our team of board-certified radiation and medical oncologists are here to provide compassion, support and guidance to our clients and patients.

We have a great team of staff and doctors who are willing to take the time out of their busy schedules to help teach.
This role will work 4 x 10 hour shifts and have 3 days off a week!
Job Duties:
- Restraining patients for exams
- Assisting with patient treatments
- Filing medications
- Recording accurate medical records
- Restocking treatment supplies
- Completing lab work as needed
- Assisting with taking radiographs
- Light housekeeping
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Speaking with clients some
- Must be a team player and able to multi-task

Rate of pay: starts at $18/per hour based on experience
Hours: Full/Part time. 10 hour shifts. Must be available to work between the hours of 8am to 7pm, Monday-Saturday. If you are interested in this position, please email your resume/cover letter.
