This Corporate Development Analyst position is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of experience. It is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading global private equity backed company to gain a greater understanding of mergers and acquisition, business strategy, competitive intelligence, corporate development, and corporate venture capital functions.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Work with key business group leaders to identify and evaluate upcoming business opportunities in the veterinary space

· Handle a variety of projects relating to strategy, M&A and general business development by researching and analyzing information pertaining to industry, company and customer trends, not limited to, but including:

  • Research projects on high-value geographic markets
  • Exploring opportunities to add and enhance products and services for the Pathway ecosystem
  • M&A valuations and due diligence on potential acquisition targets

· Output and present findings to senior members with recommendations on project value and next steps

· Prepare corporate development documents and presentations

 

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering

· Academic excellence with financial or quantitative interest/competence

· Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving skills, ability to learn concepts quickly

· Ability to synthesize complex subject matter into succinct points

· Ability to deliver results quickly while working in a dynamic team environment

· Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

· Skills in accomplishing tasks through formal and informal direction

· Analytical aptitude with ability to multitask

· Inquisitive can-do attitude

· MS Office proficiency, with advanced excel skills

· Communicate directly

· Multi-task & comply with project deadlines
