Pet Resort Attendant - Lead

Greenbriar Veterinary Hospital and Luxury Pet Resort is seeking a full-time Lead Pet Resort Attendant to join our team!
As a lead resort attendant, your main responsibilities are to provide luxury-level care to our boarding patients. Greenbriar not only provides boarding services to dogs but to cats, and “pocket pets” as well.
Resort attendant leads are mainly responsible for the care of the dogs and cats but should always be on the lookout for the best care of all animals here at Greenbriar. Walking, yard cleaning, cleaning of the suites, bathing, and caring for the cats are the main duties of the resort techs.
- Building relationships with long time clients and their pets
- Basic use of the computer system (checking animals, using the whiteboard/scheduler, workday, etc)
- Keep records and notes in Cornerstone documenting client conversations along with any obscure observed dog behavior
- Being comfortable handling most small animal breeds (dogs, cats, pocket pets)
- Guiding the resort staff and supporting them with duties when needed
- Providing feedback and reviews to staff
- Overall health and well being of animals in our care
- Cleanliness of the resort departments
- Willing to help out as needed with various tasks throughout the building
- Adheres to all expectations and duties outlined
- Demonstrates initiative in everyday duties by staying busy and on task, assisting others during downtime, and filling in for others as needed
- Displays courtesy, consideration, and a positive attitude in all interactions with clients, patients, and other staff members
- Exercises time management skills for efficiency
- Proficient in multitasking

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with a hourly pay rate starting at $19-$21 / hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
