Garden Grove Dog and Cat Hospital is seeking a full time Exam Room / Kennel Attendant to join their team!

- Previous experience in the veterinary field preferred but not required
Essential Job Functions:
- Loading the clients and patients into exam rooms.
- Obtaining the temperature and weight of the patient and entering into the PMS.
- Stocks hospital supplies and exam rooms.
- Maintains kennels and grounds, cleans all areas of the hospital, all in a timely manner. Follow instructions well.
- Communicates pertinent information about patients to veterinary technicians, CSR’s and/or veterinarians.
- Maintains hospital and patient cleanliness using aseptic technique, proper protective equipment, and isolation procedures.
- Help to maintain medical equipment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of the services the hospital provides and the species it treats
- Ability to communicate with employees and clients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure accuracy of patient care
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
Requirements:
- Education equivalent to the completion of the 12th grade.

Our hospital hours are Monday – Friday from 7:30am – 6pm, Sat 7:30am –12pm and Sun 10:30am – 3pm. Schedule will consist of one weekend shift and three weekday shifts.

Compensation ranges from $18-$19 per hour, based on experience.
