Thrive Urgent Care in Torrance is hiring an outgoing Veterinary Customer Service Representative to join the team!

We are here to provide outpatient veterinary care to relieve pressure from our local and busy ER hospitals, help our referring veterinary community, and provide exceptional service pets and their families. This position will make a positive impact on patients, clients and veterinary colleague’s lives!

Successful candidates will:   
  • demonstrate compassion and care for our client's animals, 
  • effectively and respectfully communicate with all fellow team members and clients, 
  • have the ability to multi-task, work well with others, and be self-motivated, 
  • possesses strong customer service skills, 
  • have a flexible schedule, 
  • veterinary experience is strongly preferred for this role. 
  • understand the triage process in a veterinary setting, 
  • check in clients and gather all appropriate information, 
  • field questions and communicate well with all team members, 
  • handle financial transactions, 
  • familiarity with EZ-Vet software a plus!
  • have weekend availability
Our Customer Service Representatives are the face of our new Urgent Care. They have to work well under stressful situations, be adaptable and always provide service with a smile. 
Schedule: 4x10hour swing shift schedule with a regular weekend shift (either Saturday or Sunday). 
Compensation: Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with a hourly pay rate starting at $18-20 / hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
