Anderson Veterinary Clinic is seeking a highly motivated associate who will become a member of our veterinary family. Anderson Veterinary Clinic is a 4-doctor practice located at the northern end of California’s beautiful Sacramento Valley.
Anderson Veterinary Clinic is a busy small animal general practice located in Northern California. We value the human-animal bond and treat clients and pets with hometown hospitality and the highest standard of care. We have served our community at our current site for 65 years and have built an exceptionally well-established client base. The practice has grown tremendously since moving into our newly built award-winning facility.
The most valuable part of our hospital is our team! A collaborative team of veterinarians, with phenomenal support staff. We pride ourselves in having a highly skilled and personable team. From our warm and welcoming client service representatives to our well-trained RVTs and veterinary assistants, we function as a team to support our doctors in providing care to our clients through technology, education, compassion, and teamwork.
Our hospital is well-equipped to provide high-quality medical care and surgery. Our hospital boasts 2 full surgery suites and 5 exam rooms as well as an isolation ward. We have top-of-the-line equipment including digital radiology, digital dental radiology, ultrasound, a full in-house laboratory, and up-to-date anesthesia/monitoring equipment. We have a strong working relationship with a local referral for emergency, critical care, and specialty services, we are located a short discharge from UC Davis Veterinary School.
What we are looking for: full-time associate veterinary position, to join our 4-doctor hospital. Our full-time position is currently four day, 10-hour shifts, rotation of weekends (Saturday only, closed Sunday), and no on-call. We are seeking a veterinarian with a strong interest in wellness, medicine, general surgery, and the desire to educate and build a strong relationship with our team and clients.

Experience & Skills Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
- State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL range starting at $120/year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
