Our Ideal Candidate: 

  • Is Comfortable with Patient Care / Animal Handling / TreatmentsExam room assistance
  • At least one year of recent experience in veterinary practice or medical environment, with increasing responsibilities
  • Enjoys interacting with Clients, and provides excellent customer service

Job Duties: 
  • Diagnostics and Laboratory Procedures
  • Medication Dispensation
  • Hospitalized Patient Care / Surgical Assistance
  • Client Relations / answers phone calls / Medical records
  • Facility Maintenance / Safety
    Follow hospital policies / excellent work ethic
  • Attends department and staff meetings

Job Requirements:

  • Education is equivalent to the completion of the 12th grade.
  • Willingness to pursue further education leading to Licensed Veterinary Technician status.
  • Ability to maintain clean and accurate records / properly check out clients for services
  • Treat patients with respect and compassion. Ability to properly restrain.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills. A commitment to outstanding client service.
  • Ability to perform routine veterinary medical procedures ( collect samples, blood draws, and administer vaccines)
  • Medical terminology
  • Time Management skills
