Job Overview:
- Support Veterinarians to ensure quality care, advocate for patients and educate clients.
- Monitor and assess patient status
- Placing catheters, collecting laboratory samples for testing
- Communicate with clients about patient concerns, medications, and treatments
- Use safe restraint techniques, follow standard protocols and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms and laboratory
Experience & Skills Requirements:
- 1-2 years of clinical experience
- CVT preferred but not required
- Experience with exotics preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, squatting, standing and walking throughout the day
