** Candidates based Austin will in be hybrid in office 2-days a week. Candidates in other geographies across the U.S. will work remote. **
 
Job Summary:
The Membership Program Manager is responsible for driving the strategy and execution of the Thrive Pet Healthcare’s membership program within our network of pet hospitals. They will be responsible for managing, optimizing as well as continuing to launch and evolve the company’s membership program in line with company and business goals. It is a highly cross-functional role working with many company departments such as operations, technology, marketing, and finance.

Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for system-wide Thrive Plus membership program performance, including membership counts, new member acquisition, member engagement, and member retention
  • Manages all day-to-day activities associated with the overall success and growth of the membership program
  • Serves as subject matter expert (both internal and external) for all aspects of the company’s membership program
  • Supports clinic teams with all operational needs related to day-to-day management of membership program
  • Administrate the third-party membership management platform, creating/updating plans, coupons, providing customer reports, configuring benefits across reservation systems, rolling membership out to new clinics, ensuring integrations with clinic software is working appropriately
  • Liaise with IT and product teams to ensure continuous optimizations of the technology roadmap for membership in particular continue to grow self-service and automation capabilities as well as enhance overall user experience to grow conversion rate
  • Partners with Talent and Learning team to develop and implement training materials and training sessions related to membership rollout
  • Drives cross functional implementation of membership in newly identified hospitals, both independently and as a part of a larger rollout
  • Works closely with brand and regional marketing teams to develop external marketing plans that support program growth including new member acquisition and existing member engagement optimization
  • Partners with the analytics team members to review and enhance reporting related to membership programs
  • Evaluates program performance and investigates opportunities to recommend promotions and strategies that drive program spend and member engagement
  • Provide recommendation on additional program benefits and overall evolution of our offering based on research, clinic and clients input
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelors of Business or a similar degree is required
  • 4+ years of experience managing subscription, loyalty, or membership programs and/or products is required
  • Experience in Veterinary Services or Pet Care industry a plus
  • Excellent project management skills with a high attention to detail
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative thinker and problem solver not afraid to bring new ideas to the table
  • Quick learner with the ability to quickly understand new technology systems
  • Tech savvy with experience working with across a variety of software platforms
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work cross functionally with various stakeholders i.e. developers, clinic practice managers, marketers
