Arrowhead Veterinary Hospital, an AAHA accredited practice, specializing in dogs, cats, and birds seeks an experienced, highly reliable Veterinarian to join our practice. We're interested in talking to you if you genuinely love animals if you have your own dogs and cats at home, and if you're as committed to pet parent education as you are to treating animals. Our clinic focuses on preventive medicine as well as surgical intervention, particularly for spaying and neutering animals. We're looking for an experienced vet who wants to work in a friendly, supportive atmosphere with other dedicated professionals.
We are located in beautiful Fruita, Colorado on the western slope. With 245 days of sunshine per year on average and world-class recreation surrounding us, the choice is yours - mountain biking, skiing, hiking, fishing, camping, climbing, and so much more! Enjoy a work-life balance with us while you practice high-quality medicine at our well-equipped hospital, with our experienced and dedicated support staff. We offer in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital ultrasound, electrocardiography, laparoscopy, and more. The ideal candidate is passionate about raising the standard in veterinary medicine (our motto), compassionate, possesses top-notch client communication skills, and is ready to experience what sets us apart from other hospitals. Full-time is preferred, but part-time considered, and avian and exotic experience is a plus!

Experience & Skills Requirements
● Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
● State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
● Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL range starting at $110,000 / year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
