Job Requirements:

  • 2 Years of Leadership / Training Experience in Neurology
  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (Preferred / Not Required)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the individuals working in their specific department on any given shift to ensure their work product is excellent
  • Create and maintain staff schedule within the department
  • Review any patient / doctor issues that come up within their department in the moment to allow for expedient and satisfactory resolution
  • Maintains inventory for their particular department. This may be done by providing a weekly inventory list to the Inventory Manager or by ordering the products themselves, whichever is agreed to mutually between the Inventory Manager and the Department Lead
  • Responsible for conducting yearly performance reviews for respective staff
  • Acts as primary person for resource management of technical staff within their specific department
  • As assigned by the Technician Manager(s), trains staff in various areas of technical skills pertinent to their specific department
  • Responsible for being primary key-holder OR Cubex resource as needed
  • Provide any support to ACCESS administration as needed for the benefit of the hospital

Compensation is commensurate with experience, skill set, and credentials.


  • 10 hour shift

Supplemental Pay:

  • Bonus pay
  • Signing bonus (dependent on credentials)


  • Veterinary Technician Experience: 2 years (Required)


  • Veterinary Technician Certification (Preferred)
