Job Overview:
Our Veterinary Technicians work with our Veterinarians to provide excellent patient care in surgeries, dental procedures, patient sedation and many other procedures, including outpatient care exams. This position offers great learning opportunities for a career working with animals. We provide outstanding veterinary care to cats, dogs, and exotics and practice Fear Free handling.
Our ideal Candidate:
At least one year of veterinary technician experience preferred
- Must have experience working in the veterinary field
Provides exceptional nursing care and customer service
Responsibilities and duties position include:
- Assisting Veterinarians in exam rooms
- Animal restraint
- Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
- Dental prophylaxis and dental x-rays
- Setup and obtain x-ray images
- Perform in house lab work including fecal analysis and ear cytology
- Anesthetic monitoring
- Client education
- Technician appointments
Pay Range: $24-$27/hour dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
