CADD Technician

Purpose & Need

What You’ll Do
- Proficient in roadway construction plans production
- Capable of the development of pay item quantities and calculations
- Capable of developing a project cost estimate
- Knowledgeable of design standards, manuals, and criteria
- Requires no technical supervision of tasks by senior staff
- Serves in the lead technical capacity for project development
- Complete tasks and projects within expectations of Project Manager, Supervisor or Task Lead
What You’ll Need
- High School diploma or non-engineering degree
- Vocational Training course completion or equivalent college level courses is preferred
- 0-5 years of related experience
- Other experience or training may be considered
What You’ll Bring
- Knowledge about CADD Systems
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must be able to effectively prioritize
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards in all work efforts
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in an organized manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team on deadline-driven activities
- Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and other Office Products
