Coatings Inspector

Purpose & Need
What You’ll Do
- Perform field assessments of construction and steel painting based on instructions provided by senior staff members
- Document observations with photographs and detailed written reports
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
What You’ll Need
- H.S. diploma or equivalent experience
- AMPP Basic Coatings Inspector (formerly NACE CIP Level 1 Certified) or SSPC BCI Level 1
- Ability to achieve Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Intermediate training within the first year of
employment. - Working knowledge of construction documents (plans and specifications) is preferred

- Good verbal communications skills and the ability to interact with a variety of clients
- Good attention to detail and effective writing skills
- Must be able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines
