The Job at a Glance

As the Continuous Improvement Analyst, you are critical in helping our GFC team do their very best. The CI team is tasked with helping our GFC teams do better and drive change. You will be responsible for large data pulls and telling the story behind the numbers for our projects. You will be a major contributor to process improvement projects. You will seek insights in our data to assist with storage optimization, labor management, and GFC processes. You will help maintain accurate data records by doing activities like gather and audit location types and sizes. You will help gather data for pre and post evaluation of projects including performing time studies.  You will be an active participant in GFC LEAN and 5S projects that our team members perform. You will advise and assist our GFC teams understand LEAN and 5S.

 

A Typical Day

  • You will analyze existing GFC processes and assess shortcomings/gaps
  • You are responsible for reporting, ad-hoc data requests, understanding GFC processes, and understanding how our ERP and WMS interact
  • You will help with the management of GFC data analytics
  • You will improve overall GFC quality through process improvement and help implement efforts such as 5S, LEAN, working closely with GFC team members
  • You will provide analytical support on labor management, productivity metrics, quality metrics, and other KPIs
  • You will assist in development and implementation of standard work, leader standard work and our Operational Management System
  • Other duties as assigned

 

To Land This Opportunity

  • You possess the ability to transform data into actionable decisions and insightful stories
  • You’re passionate about continuous improvement
  • You consider yourself an expert in MS Excel
  • You have experience pulling data from data repositories
  • You have experience leading LEAN and 5s projects as part of a small team
  • You have 2+ years’ experience in analytics and bonus points if you have experience working in a Distribution Center or Global Fulfillment Center
  • You’re adaptable and thrive within quickly changing environments 
  • You possess abilities to be able to move around for long periods of time, and lift up to 30 pounds unassisted
  • You have fantastic communication skills & you’re proficient in English (verbal and written)

About Your Future Team

The salary range for this role is $58,650.37-$71,683.79 ($28.19/hr-$34.46/hr) which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
