The Job at a Glance

The Material Handler is responsible for providing support for every step an order takes in the fulfillment process. This team members is responsible for picking orders, prepping material for shipments to the vendor, box making, and maintaining constant support for our team members needs with material. Being self-motivated and having the ability to switch between different tasks seamlessly throughout the day is essential to this role.

A Typical Day

• Picking orders from multiple zones in the Distribution Center
• Organizing incoming work in totes and skids
• Prep the material to satisfy our vendor’s requirements
• Make boxes to support the packing process
• Organize the pre-shipment orders to get ready for shipment
• Support team members with loading and unloading of shipments onto the conveyor
• Help bring up and down skids to the mezzanine.
• Maintain a clean work environment with 5S
• Maintain open lines of communication with peers, management, and vendor online support teams
• Strive to improve and develop processes to support the growth of the department

To Land This Opportunity

• You have previous experience in picking and packing material
• You possess strong time management and multi-tasking skills
• You possess some experience HighJump and Korber One Platform
• You can stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs unassisted
• Forklift experience is a plus
• You have clear, effective communication skills
• You are highly detail oriented and quality driven
• You can work a 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM schedule; however, this can change any time between 6am-9pm
