The Job at a Glance
As the Outbound Quality Specialist (internally known as Keeper of the Stockpile) you will perform an essential function acting as a liaison between our Fulfillment Center Customer Service team. Our Order Quality Specialists are responsible for resolving inventory discrepancies on orders being assembled for shipment, including missing parts, incorrect quantities, and mixed orders. In our Distribution Center, Order Quality Specialists also play a key role in maintaining the quality and accuracy of Parts Town’s sales orders.
A Typical Day
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve inventory related order discrepancies and deliver a positive customer experience
- Investigate and provide resolution for parts that are missing or out of stock
- Handle escalated part identification and communicate solutions to urgent issues that need to be resolved
- Update part and shipping information to be accurately reflected in inventory management and purchase order systems
- Exercise discretion in managing time to locate parts missing from orders
- Log FC Quality Issues and communicate trends with the internal and leadership teams
- Resolving aged orders in process and expediting air orders
To Land This Opportunity
- You are able to work Monday – Friday 11:30am-8:00pm and are able to work Saturdays as needed
- You showcase strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- You possess excellent time management and organizational skills
- You have intermediate to advanced knowledge of High Jump, Syspro, and Exacta
- You have the ability to operate all material handling equipment safely
- You possess the ability to move around for long periods of time and consistently lift up to 40lbs unassisted.
- You have fantastic communication skills & you’re proficient in English (verbal and written)

The salary range for this role is $42,744.83 – $52,721.25 annually ($20.55 – 25.34 hourly) which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
