The Job at a Glance

As an Inbound Traffic Specialist you play an imperative role in our Distribution Center team by launching efforts at the beginning of our entire operation to prepare shipments to be received into inventory. You will work closely with both OEM carriers and our internal teams to ensure accurate deliveries and timely receipts. You will improve our efficiencies by scheduling, receiving, and organizing shipments while documenting necessary information. As an Inbound Traffic specialist you will play key role in improving and developing our processes to support the growth of the department.

 

A Typical Day

  • Document and record inbound delivery information ensuring it accurately reflects OEM/Carrier manifest
  • Efficiently use forklifts to stage, organize , prioritize and replenish receivers with inbound deliveries & OSD’s 
  • Follow standard procedures for damaged or missing deliveries with proper documentation
  • POC for Carrier scheduling and Customer service inquires/expedite requests on Inbound deliveries and scheduling Bale and scrap wood pickups
  • Use of MS office applications(Excel, Outlook, Word, Access) to manage delivery information, accurate carry over counts, and EOD report
  • Maintain open lines of communication with peers, leadership, and Customer service
  • Keeping proper documentation of flagged shipments for office or other team members within the company

  • You can work the hours of 8:30 AM-4:00 PM Monday-Friday
  • Your problem solving ability and attention to detail are top notch 
  • You have experience working with SAP and HighJump
  • You show excellent time management and organizational skills
  • You thrive in a fast paced team first environment
  • You have the ability to intermittently lift 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed 
  • You have fantastic communication skills & you’re proficient in English (verbal and written)

 

 

 

About Your Future Team

The salary range for this role is $42,744.83 – $52,721.25 annually ($20.55 – 25.34 hourly) which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
