The Job at a Glance
Partner across the business, specifically with sales, talent, operations, marketing, IT and eCommerce team leaders to gather, analyze, and prioritize impactful growth projects on behalf of our business. This Director will collaborate with the above teams to design, setup, drive, track, and support cross-functional projects, as well as manage teams to execute and achieve results. These programs will represent high-priority, “heart of the business” type projects, resulting in improved operational efficiency, increase customer satisfaction, and increased overall growth in the business.
Typical Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders from across the global business to understand and document improvement opportunities and potential projects on which to focus team resources, and work with leaders to setup programs and actions to execute on opportunities.
- Using various frameworks to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to assess and prioritize opportunities across the business, including building business cases (e.g. NPV analysis)
- Build presentations to communicate results of analysis, key takeaways, and next steps with all levels of the organization including g peers, business leaders, steering committees, etc. in way that influences and drives action
- Partner with Strategy & PMO leaders to build executive / board level presentations that could represent program updates, or to frame up and seek executive decisions
- Partner closely with a cross-functional team in support of each project to ensure that the agreed upon goals & requirements are followed throughout the project, and that the right “voices” are heard as the project proceeds.
- Build project plans based on understanding of business goals, resources available, and priorities.
- Lead teams comprised of both direct reports, and team members across other departments to execute projects against timelines, noting and addressing risks as they arise
- Monitor and assess project performance and drive projects to on time completion, review and validate successful completion of deliverables
- Schedule, host and mediate sessions to ensure alignment, drive progress against, and triage issues
- Sample programs / initiatives include: overall company strategic planning, standing up new distribution centers, post-merger integration, customer experience process & operating model enhancement, digital asset optimization, margin improvement assessment & synergy analysis, supply chain optimization, etc.
To Land This Opportunity
- You have great organizational skills, enjoy team collaboration, and have the ability to manage complex cross functional projects with many stakeholders.
- 8+ Years’ experience in a role managing customer facing, value added projects.
- You are an expert in the MS productivity suite. Knowledge and familiarity with other Project Management software and methodologies, although not required, are a benefit.
- Background in strategy / consulting or some other rotational development program are ideal, but not required
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to change

The salary range for this role is $135,660.00 – 200,928.00 which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role.
