The Job at a Glance

As the Director of Customer Solutions – HVAC, you’ll be stepping into a pivotal leadership role within one of our most exciting and fastest-growing product verticals. This newly expanded HVAC unit is redefining how we serve and grow both HVAC Mechanical Contractor and HVAC Distribution customers—bringing together deep product expertise, operational excellence, and a relentless focus on service. You’ll lead a dynamic, customer-facing team that operates at the intersection of sales operations and customer service. From the first inquiry to post-order support, your team ensures every customer interaction is seamless, solution-oriented, and memorable. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building scalable processes, developing high-performing teams, and driving measurable impact!

 

The Job at a Glance

  • Guide and support outbound engagement strategies, ensuring the team is equipped to connect with prospective and existing HVAC customers effectively and confidently
  • Oversee inbound service operations, ensuring inquiries, orders, and support needs are handled with speed, accuracy, and a customer-first mindset
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Fulfillment, and Technology teams to elevate the customer experience and position our HVAC business unit for long-term success.
  • Enable sales growth by coaching the team on opportunity identification, solution development, deal closure, and pricing strategies
  • Drive adoption of Parts Town’s products and services, aligning team efforts with customer needs and business goals
  • Monitor and optimize pipeline management, helping the team prioritize high-impact opportunities and build lasting customer relationships
  • Lead account planning and research initiatives, ensuring the team is proactive in following up on leads and managing existing orders
  • Champion customer-centric problem solving, helping the team position Parts Town’s capabilities as strategic solutions to real-world challenges
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (Customer Service, Operations, Sales, etc.) to ensure a seamless and unified customer experience
  • Promote education and enablement, ensuring the team effectively communicates the value of manufacturer partnerships, technical resources, and digital tools
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, using feedback and performance data to refine team practices and elevate service delivery

 

To Land This Opportunity

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in Sales Operations, Customer Service, or Customer Experience and excited about Building something new.
  • Proven success managing inbound customer teams and supporting the full sales-to-service lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of HVAC customer profiles, product needs, and service expectations
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce, SAP) and data tools (Excel, Qlik)
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution
  • Passion for coaching, developing talent, and building scalable processes
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and business growth

At Parts Town, we value transparency and are committed to ensuring our team members feel appreciated and supported.   We prioritize our positive workplace culture where collaboration, growth, and work-life balance are celebrated. The salary range for this role is $88,825 - $131,560 which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
