The Job at a Glance
As the Quality and Inventory Control Supervisor, internally known as Supervisor, OEM Parts Wrangler. You will be overseeing the team that makes sure we have the best inventory quality as possible. The moment inventory comes in the door to the moment it reaches the customer. Our customers expect the right part, the right quantity, undamaged, and on time. The Quality and Inventory Control supervisor is a fanatic about making sure we deliver on that promise. You will build a team that is responsible for continuous cycle counting, syncing inventory across our systems and managing all exception processes. You will lead a team working with Customer Experience on any customer facing quality or inventory issues (ICR). Your team will work with Manufacturer Partnerships, Accounts Payable, vendors, and the receiving team to resolve any receiving discrepancies such as overages, shortages, and damages.
A Typical Day
- Build and develop a team responsible for all things quality and inventor
- Lead a cycle counting team ensuring we achieve quality and productivity KPIs
- Handle all exception processes including overages, shortages, and damages.
- Communicate with vendors, Accounts Payable, and Operations teams on resolving receipt discrepancies
- Oversee customer facing quality issues and work with operations and Continuous Improvement teams on error proofing
- Manage parts needing identification and escalating quality issues as needed
- Participate in interview process, training, performance reviews, and tracking attendance
About Your Future Team
- You’re someone that thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work well minimal supervision, juggle multiple priorities and are self-starter looking to make an impact and establish a new team
- You are comfortable reporting into a leader working at another facility and you have experience within DC Operations
- You are an inventory guru who enjoys working with inventory and investigating discrepancies
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- You possess excellent communication skills with all levels of leadership, and are fluent in English (verbal and written)
- You can work an 8:30am-5:00pm shift
- You are able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and stay organized
- You have the ability to intermittently lift 50 lbs. and to continuously stand and walk on concrete surface (our DC team members stand so we do too!)
To Land This Opportunity

The salary range for this role is $62,320.50– $76,169.50 annually ($29.96 – $36.61 hourly) which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
