The Job at a Glance
At Parts Town, our Service Coordinators (internally known as Dispatch Commanders) collaborate with our Inside Service Technicians, manufacturer partners, and service providers to manage the warranty dispatch process from start to finish. The Service Coordinator will handle part order entry, dispatch service, service follow-ups, and manage live inquiries. Strong problem solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to multitask without sacrificing accuracy are essential for success in this role!
 
A Typical Day
  • Dispatch Service 60-80 service calls/day within a ten minute time frame
  • Utilize mapping tools to locate service providers closest to end user location, schedule service.
  • Provide a top-notch customer experience to customers, manufacturers, equipment dealers, and service providers over the phone and through email.
  • Manage the life cycle of service from dispatch to close, while providing frequent updates to involved parties.
  • Document detail-oriented reports that will be escalated to Technicians for troubleshooting (including, but not limited to parts identification).
  • Monitor and reply to email inquires in a timely manner.
  • Support the Service Coordinator team as business needs require.

  • You have at least 1 year of experience in a customer service or technical support role.
  • You demonstrate exceptional critical thinking & problem-solving skills!

  • You’re detail oriented.
  • You consider yourself a pro in Microsoft Office products and enjoy doing research to find solutions.
  • You thrive in a fast paced and team-oriented environment.
  • You’re an all-star communicator and are fluent in English (both written and verbal). Bonus points If you are bilingual in English & Spanish!
  • You can work a schedule of M-F 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM (CST) / 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM (EST) with flexibility as needed
