Job Summary - a concise overview of the job
The Analyst, Marketing & Business Analytics is responsible for supporting the Commercial IQVIA reporting and analysis process. Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly and quarterly IQVIA market share reports and distribute to management team. Research and explain any significant market fluctuations or imbalances. In addition, responsibilities include ad-hoc analytical projects and interdepartmental back-up support as needed.
All incumbents are responsible for following applicable Division & Company policies and procedures.
Scope of Authority - span of control (work unit, site, department, division, etc.), monetary value of budget/spend authority ( capital, operating, etc.), P&L responsibility, etc.
Key Accountabilities - key outcomes/deliverables, the major responsibilities, and % of time
% of Time
§ Market share report creation using IQVIA database, SMART and Hyperion applications
§ Prepare, analyze and distribute product specific activity as noted on PriceRx and FDA databases
§ Serve as primary liaison with IQVIA to address any questions, concerns or interpretation of the IQVIA data we receive
§ Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly and quarterly IQVIA market share reports and distribute to management team
§ Research and explain any significant market fluctuations or imbalances
§ Prepare ad hoc market share reports as requested by various departments
§ Assist with ad creation for industry publications and product sell sheets
§ Review and audit company website
§ Various marketing projects as requested
§ Participate in various , Tech Ops meetings
§ Create, analyze and distribute monthly customer sales/compliance reports
§ Present at weekly team meetings
§ Perform Monthly Unit Review and Quarterly ANSP Review to update forecasts based on trending as well as Gains/Losses/etc.
Education & Experience
Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience and certifications required for the job
§ Bachelor’s degree
§ 3 years of analytical experience required
§ 3 years of related work experience, preferably within the Generic Pharmaceutical industry
Proficiency in a body of information required for the job
e.g. knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP/GLP/GCP, Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, etc.
§ Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products
§ Three Dimensional database experience preferred
§ Familiarity with IQVIA and PriceRx a plus
