Job Summary:

        Responsible for the operation, monitor, and cleaning of production machines to support the Compression process, following batch records, SOPs, and company policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • All equipment must be assembled, operated, disassembled and cleaned within the department according to current SOPs and company policies.
  • Document all entries into appropriate logs according to approved SOPs.
  • Evaluate the condition of all equipment parts and inform the supervisor of any wear or damage.
  • Monitor the compression process to ensure product quality.
  • Promptly report any production problems or equipment failures to the supervisor.
  • Maintain acceptable housekeeping standards.
  • Meet monthly production goals.

  • Number of exempt employees supervised: 0
  • Number of non- exempt employees  supervised: 0

Education and or Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • One to three years related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry/GMP environment is preferred.                               
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to speak clearly, listen and gain clarification, and respond well to questions.                                                                 
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations, including add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to work a varied and flexible work schedule.
