The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst/SAP Implementation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP S/4HANA IS-OIL and extensive experience with TD (Transport & Distribution) shipments, TPI (transportation planning interface) and TAS (Terminal automation systems). This role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful deployment and optimization of our SAP S/4HANA system, focusing on truck movement of hydrocarbons. 

Responsibilities:

SAP Implementation: 

  • Support in managing the implementation of SAP S/4HANA projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, objectives and controls.
  • Experience in greenfield S4 conversion.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, aligning with defined project scope, and develop detailed project plans.
  • Support in Configuration and customization of SAP S/4HANA modules to meet business needs, focusing on TD movement.
  • Conduct system testing, user training, and provide post-implementation support.
  • Support to develop S/4 HANA solution alternatives, including work procedure changes, and recommend the best alternative to meet operational requirements.

Business Analysis:

  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Review detailed functional specifications and documentation for new features and enhancements.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and validate solutions with business users.
  • Collaborate with Business and other streams to understand their requirements.

Hydrocarbons Value Chain (HVC) Processes :

  • Support in Design and implementation of effective & Standardized HVC TD processes within the SAP S/4HANA environment across 25 different countries.
  • Ensure integration of EBOL(Electric Bill of Lading) and controls to SAP
  • Provide expertise and work with operation: 
    • EBOL integration control and issue solving.
    • Master data related to lifts (badge, consignee, product translation etc…)  
    • Freight cost accrual as part of TD movement 
    • Individual truck reconciliation 

Project Management:

  • Support process lead in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, procurement, and operations.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to the team.

Support and Maintenance:

  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP S/4HANA systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP developments, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Conduct regular system audits and implement necessary updates and patches.

Education:

  • Related post-secondary degree, preferably in Computer Science or Business Finance/Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in SAP implementation, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing Hydrocarbon processes within SAP environments.
  • Strong understanding of SAP MM (Material Master), TD (Transportation & Distribution), SD (Sales & Distribution) modules.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management abilities, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management: results-focused, team-oriented.
  • Proficiency in SAP configuration and customization.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Combination of strong technical and business skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and respond to requests in a timely manner.
  • A continuous improvement and continuous learning mindset.
  • SAP S/4HANA certification.
  • Experience with other SAP modules and integrations.
  • Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
  • Experience in training and supporting end-users.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
