Salary Range: $20.50-$26.50/hour 

The Opportunity:

The Loyalty Analytics Intern will support the Loyalty team in analyzing campaign and program performance, generating customer insights, and supporting data-driven decision making. During this 4-month term, the student will assist with campaign assessment, KPI reporting, and segmentation analysis to help optimize loyalty offers and engagement strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with campaign and offer performance analysis to measure effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Document campaign performance results and consolidate key learnings into a campaign playbook to inform future marketing strategies.
  • Support A/B testing initiatives for offers, messaging, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Contribute to customer segmentation and profiling by analyzing behavioral patterns within loyalty member groups.
  • Prepare program and customer KPI updates for management and executive audiences.
  • Identify statistical patterns and insights in data using analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, PowerBI and Tableau.
  • Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from Loyalty, Marketing, and Retail business units.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, loyalty, and analytics teams to ensure insights translate into clear recommendations and business actions.

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics, or a related discipline. Preference given to 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year students.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis techniques.
  • Basic experience with SQL or data querying is considered an asset.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI is an asset.
  • Ability to create clear and visually effective presentations using PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership through academic, internship, or extracurricular experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
