The Opportunity:

The Car Wash Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Car Wash Manager in all day-to-day operations related to those tasks essential to the car wash.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards or regulations.
  • Scrub, scrape, or spray machine parts, equipment, or vehicles, using scrapers, brushes, clothes, cleaners, disinfectants, insecticides, acid, abrasives, vacuums, or hoses.
  • Turn valves or handles on equipment to regulate pressure or flow of water, air, steam, or abrasives from sprayer nozzles.
  • Press buttons to activate cleaning equipment or machines.
  • Rinse objects and place them on drying racks or use cloth, squeegees, or air compressors to dry surfaces.
  • Clean and polish vehicle windows.
  • Monitor operation of cleaning machines and stop machines or notify supervisors when malfunctions occur.
  • Turn valves or disconnect hoses to eliminate water, cleaning solutions, or vapors from machinery or tanks.
  • Connect hoses or lines to pumps or other equipment.
  • Maintains a safe work environment including performing loss prevention duties.
  • Properly cleans and maintains equipment.
  • Must meet performance expectations. Must complete all duties as assigned.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must be able to work flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in varying outdoor climates and environments.
  • Positive outgoing personality and excellent customer service skills.
  • Incredible customer service skills & the ability to create and maintain a customer focused culture.
  • Physical ability to complete required duties, including standing, lifting, bending, reaching, and walking.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace.
