The Opportunity:

The Integration, Change Management & Training Intern will primarily support communication efforts, engage project super users, develop training materials, and coordinate logistics for the integration of Parkland and Sunoco. The position focuses on helping prepare the organization for multiple go-live phases. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in change management, communications, and training. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support change management activities, including stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, and readiness tracking.
  • Assist in drafting and coordinating communications such as emails, FAQs, newsletters, and intranet updates.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials, including slide decks, job aids, and quick reference guides.
  • Coordinate training logistics—schedule sessions, manage invites, track attendance, and support virtual delivery.
  • Maintain project documentation, including meeting notes, action logs, and status updates.
  • Help collect and summarize feedback, survey results, and adoption metrics to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subject matter experts, and business partners to ensure alignment across workstreams.

Education:

  • Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Coursework or demonstrated interest in change management, training & development, or organizational behaviour is preferred,

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in change management, communications, and training.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders and confident in speaking up and sharing ideas.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to track tasks, documentation, and timelines effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and summarize feedback and data
  • French and/or Spanish bilingualism is considered an asset
